Programs

We work across juvenile facilities and the wider community, offering mentorship from lived-experience leaders, court and reentry advocacy, strengths-based case management, and family-centered programs that empower and uplift.

  • Detention Prevention

We offer workshops for youth, families, schools, and community partners that unpack the pipeline to prison—how school pushout, poverty, trauma, and outside influences like guns, gangs, and adult influencers contribute to incarceration. Our goal is to equip youth and communities with tools to interrupt this cycle.

  • Mentorship

We are credible messengers—adults with real-life experience who build trusting, authentic relationships with youth. Through consistent connection, we offer guidance, accountability, and a model for what’s possible beyond the system. We are doing this work in juvenile hall and in the community.

  • Case Management

We provide strengths-based case management that serves the goals and potential of each young person. Services are tailored to address the complex realities of system-involved youth, including education, mental health, employment, and housing support.

  • Court Advocacy

We show up in court for the youth and families we serve—offering advocacy, working with public defenders, and providing judges with context that highlights each young person’s strengths and alternatives to detention.

  • Suited for Successs

Our “Suited for Success” program gives youth clothing for court appearances. The program builds self-esteem and reinforces the belief that they are worthy of respect, success, and a fresh start.

  • Parental Support

Our parent support group meets monthly to guide families through the challenges of the justice system, offering a space to connect, access resources, and find strength through shared experience and support.

  • Carceral Support

The connections we make with system-impacted youth often begin in juvenile hall where we meet with the youth monthly to develop fellowship over a meal, and to begin mentorship, court advocacy, and other supportive programs.

  • Basic Needs for Stable Starts

We help stabilize youth by meeting urgent needs like food, clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, and transportation. When basic needs are met, youth are better positioned to focus on the future and less likely to recidivate.
